Bhd. will adopt IATF 16949:2016 in the third quarter of 2026, the world-recognized standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. IATF 16949:2016 was developed by the International Automotive Task Force in cooperation with leading international automotive manufacturers and suppliers and was approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard sets a sound base tailored to the needs of the automotive sector, with emphasis on consistent process application, risk management, and continuous improvement.

V.A.B. Industries Sdn. Bhd. is committed to the introduction and implementation of IATF 16949 as a process-oriented quality management system that encourages defect prevention, variation and waste reduction, and continual operational efficiency improvement throughout the supply chain. This will provide a sound foundation for us to meet customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements with increased product reliability and performance.

Adoption of IATF 16949 will also reinforce our focus on customer-specific requirements, supplier development, and data-driven decision-making. Key automotive quality tools like risk analysis, process control, and structured problem-solving will be integrated into our daily operations to support sustainable quality outcomes.
